Designing the interface and user experience

The first stage of the project was to create an image website without the functionality of an online shop and introducing a transparent and user-friendly interface. Creating a dedicated theme for the customer, with the use of the company's colors and a modern graphic style. Processing of images and structuring of product data. Designing the website structure as well as individual interactive graphic elements. Introducing CSS animations in order to improve user experience.

The goal of the project was to develop an e-commerce system through which users can order modern furniture produced by the company.

• It is possible to choose the color of a particular piece of furniture when placing an order.

• Develop emails sent to the customer after an order is placed.
• Improving CMS security with reCAPTCHA.
• Payment gateway configuration.
• Integration with facebook marketplace and messenger.
• Integration with Comarch CRM program through .xml communication file generated from the order.

• Basic optimization for SEO.

The process of creating an e-commerce system

The project implementation process can be divided into several stages: selecting the right software, including useful Wordpress plugins, creating a theme for the website based on the official Woocommerce - Storefront theme, writing a style sheet using CSS3. After that, we take care of building the layouts of individual store pages and filling them with high quality content. After that comes uploading products to the system along with processing graphics. Later on, we take care of coding additional functionalities using php and JavaScript. Then, there comes time for requested improvements or corrections and debugging the system. Integration of the project with external systems and brief instruction for administrators. At the very end, we take care of loading optimization, page files and carrying out files and data backups.

Passing the project to the client

The last part of our work, after testing the full project on various browsers and devices, and after training for administrators, is supporting our customer on an ongoing basis with updates, minor changes or corrections. Every month, we carry out system backups and monitor changes which have occurred during the updates of individual plugins.
